Terms of Sales

Article 1 – Object

The best welcome will be reserved for our guests. We are committed to personally welcoming holidaymakers with all the necessary attentions to facilitate their stay and knowledge of the region.

Article 2 – Length of stay

The signatory customer of this contract concluded for a fixed term will in no circumstances be able to claim any right to maintain the premises.

Article 3 – Booking and Conclusion of the contract

The reservation becomes effective when the customer has sent the owner the deposit amounting to 30% of the total amount of the price of the stay with a minimum of one night per room retained.
The stays are guaranteed only by the receipt of the deposit and by a bank guarantee.
The deposit is cashed upon receipt, they must be paid no later than 3 days from the reservation request.
In the event that the bank guarantee or the deposit has not been received within the allotted time, the reservation is not confirmed and, consequently, the rest may be released and put back for sale. Prices are inclusive of all charges except tourist tax.

Article 4 – Cancellation by the customer

Any cancellation must be notified by email or telephone.
If the cancellation is made 30 days before arrival 15% of the stay will be charged.
If the cancellation occurs 15 days or less before arrival 30% of the stay will be charged.
If the cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before the start of the stay, the deposit remains with the owner who reserves the right to claim the balance of the price of accommodation.
If the customer does not appear before 20 hours the day of the beginning of the stay, this contract becomes void and the owner can dispose of its consequences. The deposit remains with the owner who reserves the right to claim the balance of the price of accommodation.
In case of shortened stay, the price corresponding to the cost of the accommodation remains fully acquired to the owner.
Additional services not consumed will be refunded.
Cancellation insurance: we draw your attention to the fact that no cancellation insurance is included in our rates. It is therefore strongly recommended to subscribe one.

Article 5 – Cancellation by the owner

When before the beginning of the stay, the owner cancels this stay, he must inform the customer by e-mail or by telephone.
The customer will be refunded immediately the amounts paid.

Article 6 – Change of suite

Without the client being able to claim any compensation, the owner reserves the right to change the suite initially reserved by the customer by a suite of the same capacity or higher capacity.

Article 7 – Arrival - Departure

The client must arrive on the specified day between 16h00 and 19h30. In case of late or delayed arrival, the customer must inform the owner. Rooms will be released before 11am.

Article 8 – Breakfasts

Breakfasts are served between 7:30 and 10:00. A margin before or after this time slot is accepted at the request of the customer.

Article 9 – Payment of the balance

The balance is to be paid upon arrival. Consumption and additional services not mentioned in this contract will be paid at end of stay.

Article 10 – Tourist tax

The tourist tax is a local tax that the customer must pay to the owner who then transfers it to the public treasury. It is calculated per person per night and is not included in the rate.

Article 11 – Art of living - Use of places

In order to guarantee the tranquility of the place and the comfort of the guests, the respect of a certain art of living is required of all. In particular, it is requested not to smoke inside rooms and common areas. No meals can be taken in the rooms.
The client agrees to make the suites in perfect condition at the end of the stay and declare systematically, and assume financially any degradation for which he is responsible.
Underage children are placed under the supervision and full responsibility of their parents or persons having authority over them both inside the Abode des Monts d'Or and outside in the park and at the edge of the swimming pool.
We will not accept any liability for loss, theft and / or damage or injury to the property and / or people on the property, regardless of the cause.

Article 12 – Additional services

Seminars - Privatization for seminars includes renting the meeting place with snacks and lunch, access to the park but does not include access to the pool, gym and SPA.
Family reunions - the privatization of the Demeure des Monts d'Or for family reunions includes access to the pool and the park but does not include access to the sports and SPA area.
Access to the SPA and gym is by reservation.
Swimming Pool - Underage children are under the supervision and full responsibility of their parents or persons with authority over them outside in the park and by the pool.

Article 13 – Capacity

This contract is for a specific number of people. If the number of clients exceeds this number, the owner is able to deny additional customers. This refusal can not be considered as a modification or a breach of the contract on the initiative of the owner, so that in case of departure of a number of customers higher than those refused, no refund can be considered.

Article 14 – Animals

Animals are not allowed. In case of departure of a customer motivated by the refusal of his animal, no refund can be envisaged.
